Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-Charge of Trade Relations Ms Grace Fu to Visit Fujian from 28 to 31 May 2024

Singapore, 28 May 2024 – Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations Ms Grace Fu will lead a business delegation to Fujian, China from 28 to 31 May 2024.

2 During her visit, Minister Fu and Singapore companies will explore opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the areas of sustainability and trade. She will visit Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited’s (CATL) battery cell manufacturing plant in Ningde and the Hairun Container Terminal in Xiamen.

3 Minister Fu will also renew ties with Fujian and Xiamen provincial leaders and engage Singaporean businesses operating in Fujian.

4 Minister Fu will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, Ministry of Trade and Industry, National Environment Agency, Enterprise Singapore and Singapore Economic Development Board.
